Kaisersaal Erfurt
Restaurant Clara Lutherkeller

The Kaisersaal (The Emperor’s Hall), situated in the midst of Erfurt’s picturesque old city, ranks among Europe’s most beautiful and oldest venues of events.

Spanning a period of more than 500 years, numerous personalities from all walks of public life have been guests of the house or have themselves here given their guests a warm welcome. Probably the most renowned among them are Napoleon and Czar Alexander; Karl Liebknecht and August Bebel; Goethe and Schiller; Paganini, Liszt and Clara Schumann.

The magnificent hall with its two circles has offered up to our times for official functions and celebrations as well as for workshops, seminars and trade fairs an extraordinary setting which elegantly blends historic ambience and modern functionality. The Kaisersaal garden, a bar with conservatory and terrace, six saloons with daylight as well as two restaurants round off the space offered by our house and also enhances smaller events with a special glamour and atmosphere.

In-house gastronomy offers the culinary highlights of every event.

The competent Kaisersaal team is pleased to assist you with your planning and organising and other components of staging an event.
